A new class was added in late 2024 by the National Auto Sport Association which allows drivers entered in all time trial classes to compete against each other, not by pure speed, but with consistency. The class results are compiled each race day by taking the top 4 times of at least 2 sessions and measuring the delta, or difference, between those times.
The class has become one of my favorite competitions as I pride myself on consistency as well as pushing limits of speed.
Last weekend at HPR, I won the TTT class on Saturday and Finished 3rd on Sunday with 33 and 21 drivers competing.
It was tough, all season there are 3 of us that seem to be battling the closest all of which are running in TT5 class as well!
So far this season, I’ve taken 1 win, 1 Second and 2 third place podiums. Saturday’s win marked my first career P1! I have to say I am grateful to all my coaches, mentors and fellow competitors who have stressed to me how important consistency is to racing, also, for being VERY tough with me when providing feedback and advice.. it’s been a game changer.
We have 4 races over 2 weekends left in the season, both at my home track Pueblo Motorsports Park.. we’ll see how it goes, but I plan on being top 3 each day.. =)
