Robert Butler
I’m a U.S. Army veteran who somehow traded military life for tech, serving as VP of Technology at Colorado Technical University and CIO at the University of Fairfax. Along the way, I also ran a gun store and worked as a firearms instructor.
In 2025, I opened a sim racing lounge in Pueblo West—because my racing obsession needed a home. What started in 2023 as a hobby quickly turned into a full-blown addiction. Now I hold a NASA Time Trials License and compete in SCCA, NASA, and 86Cup time trial events across the region.
