Grit, Growth, and Good Racing at High Plains Raceway

This past weekend with NASA Rocky Mountain at High Plains Raceway was exactly the kind of racing weekend that reminds you why we keep coming back to the track.

The competition was strong, the conditions kept everyone on their toes, and every session felt like a chance to learn something new behind the wheel of the Kenaz Sim Sports Toyota GR86.

Saturday was a solid day overall. We brought home:

  • P3 in TTT
  • P5 in TT5

The car felt consistent, and we continued making progress throughout the day. High Plains Raceway is never a place where you can relax for even a lap — the track demands precision and rewards confidence. Every corner matters, and small mistakes add up quickly.

Sunday was a tougher fight, but still productive:

  • P7 in TTT
  • P4 in TT5

Not every race weekend is about standing on the podium. Sometimes the biggest wins come from finding speed, improving consistency, and learning what the car — and driver — need next. We gathered a ton of useful data and experience that will help moving forward.

One of the best parts of weekends with NASA Rocky Mountain is the people. The paddock atmosphere, the competition, and the shared passion for motorsports make these events special. Huge thanks to the officials, workers, drivers, and everyone who helps make these race weekends happen.

The GR86 continues to prove itself as an incredibly fun and capable platform. Momentum is building, and there’s still more speed left to find.

Now it’s time to regroup, review footage and data, make adjustments, and get ready for the next round.

See you at the track.
