The 2025 Time Trials season is HERE! Our opening event took place at High Plains Raceway on the 26-27th of April and the car was ready to go!
I had a made a few changes over the off season, most impactful was the driver mod. I’ve been sim racing and getting coached throughout the winter months and the effort has paid off BIG. I set back to back personal bests at HPR last weekend and ended up 4th in class both Saturday and Sunday. I beat my 2024 best by almost 6 seconds.
A lot of the sim driving carried over to the real car, my braking is much better and steering inputs are much smoother. The result.. yep..
Mechanical mods over the off season; I upgraded my struts to Silvers Neomax and got another set of wheels.. that’s about it as far as mods from the 2024 car. (aside from safety mods)
The event went well, pulled in Friday morning for testing and the car ran well, had to mess with the suspension a bit but it felt pretty amazing.
Saturday morning was a normal race weekend start for April… Cold .. Sesson 1 I went out and set a personal best 2:07.6 and that was the best of the day for me as well. Temps rose and cars slowed.
I ended up 4th in TT5 and 14th overall in TT.
Sundays sessions we equally as good.. set another PB of 2:07.18 and finished 4th again.
Ended up with 2 contingency tires from Maxxis and $70.00 for brakes from Hawk !
